Are we insured

Yes we are insured. Are policy renews in January. we will provide a copy of our insurance once we have agreed a start date
Public Liability         £5,000,000
Employers Liability £10,000,000
Contract Works isurance per project  £250,000, larger projects will be individual covered as they are on their own policy

What size projects do you cover

We normally build projects from £60,000 to £1m.  We have the ability to adapt from smaller projected to larger bespoke builds using various sub contractors. 

Warranties and Guarantees

All our work is covered by a 12 Month guarantee. However certain products may carry a longer manufacturers warranty. 

Deposits and Payments

Once a start date has been agreed a deposit of 20% is required to secure your slot. Then once work has commenced, we produce fortnightly valuations with are agreed within 24hrs and an invoice raised for payment. All payments are made by Bank transfer. 

Are we the cheapest

We spend the time listening to what you are looking to achieve and provide a quotation based on your requirements and not just what's shown on the plans. So we may not the cheapest, but we will include everything you asked us to include. Not all quotes are the same. We pride ourselves with quality.  We will not compromise on quality as we have found over the years this is a false economy.  Sometime a client wants to supplier their own goods. But they need to arrange their own insurance (our insurance does cover client supplied items) and we will not guarantee this product. Should the product fail we will charge a day rate for any remedial works required. 

Other professional services you may need, and other costs to consider

Planning- We work with various architects who we can recommend should you need.

Working Drawings- We require working drawings to be able to build your project to the correct specification.

Structural engineers- We would require structural calculations for any steelwork and foundation details . we work various engineers and would be happy to recommend.

Party Wall surveyors- we would with various professionals who we can recommend.

Building Control- We can submit building control forms but this is chargeable. Once work commences we call in building control when required.
